Where would I be able to purchase a mantilla in Madrid, Sevilla, or Barcelona?

I hope someone will reply with a specific store for you! I am sure that in the little shops on the narrow streets surrounding the Plaza Mayor in Madrid you will find mantillas. Or, in the shops on the Plaza Mayor itself. I bought a mantilla in Spain when I was a student there in 1966-67, and wore it for my wedding in 1967, and I sitll have it. I hope you find what you want!

Barcelona and Madrid are big cities with plenty of shopping so you can get just about anything somewhere. Sevilla is more traditional so you should be able to find some shops selling them. We saw them in small stores in Sevilla but weren't looking for them so didn't pay attention.

You should be able to purchase a mantilla in one of those shops that sells fans and shawls. Saw lots of those in Madrid and Sevilla-but just returned from Barcelona and noticed fewer there. Be sure to visit El Corte Ingles (there is one or more in each of those cities). That department store may have mantillas and they sell some irresistable pareos-bought one in Barc for 17 euros. Wonderful store!
