We are going to the "Day Feria" on August 13th. We have a car since we are traveling on to Granada. having been to malaga before we know parking in City Center is difficult. Does someone know what is the best plan to get to city center during Feria? Is there a train station where we can park and then take the train into the City Center?

This is kind of a marginal comments and violates my standard of, "if you have not done it, don't comment on it." We are passed through Malaga twice on the way to the airport using the buses. The bus station and train station are side by side. I have observed that there is a large, multi-level parking garage attached to the train station. I would assume you could park there and local buses would take you to the city center.
