Hi- We will be coming intorussels by train, from Brugge. When I go onto Bahn.de, I can not find a connection direct from Brugge to Midi staion - there is a connection to South Stn though. Everytime I am checking something out on the net, this issues keeps popping up - ARE THESE STAIONS ONE IN THE SAME? I want to arrive by train into an area where we can walk to our hotel - which we will only be staying in for the one night, before we fly home the next day. So trying to make the trip from Brugge, into the right Train staion in Brussels - to be close to a hotel once off the train and have easy access to get to the airpirt the next day. (Need this info to find a hotel in the Most convenient area, with still something to see) Would Centrale station just be the best bet? Any help would be appreiated. thanks
Probably be easier if you used the Belgian Rail site:
All trains from Bruges to Brussels stop first at Midi (south), then, Chappelle, then Centraal. The area around Centraal station is considered the main tourist area where a lot of hotels are clustered.
The airport is a quick, easy ride from all three train stations.
Thank you gentlemen! As always, a great source of knowledge (thanks again Tom!)
