Hi just wondering can anyone elaborate on these.
I just heard recently if going to Barcelona make sure and go and see these, it was just a friend of my daughters that said to tell us to make sure and see them. Anyone know where they are and what they are etc..?
It's a huge fountain right near Placa d'Espanya (easy access from that metro stop and a short walk). The times change for the seasons but they're mainly on weekend evenings. Personally for me it was one of my favorite things in Barcelona. It lasts about a half hour and it's a colorful big fountain show set to music. The night we were there in August, there were thousands of people there! If you want to kind of see what it looks like, here are my pictures and if you search on Youtube there are some nice videos that people have posted :)
I agree with Debra. My daughter and I were in Barcelona last May. The fountain show usually starts around 9:30 p.m. and lasts 30 minutes. You will see all the people sitting on the steps leading up to the Art Museum, so you may want to go earlier to get a good spot. Its free and visited by the locals. Lots of fun.
