Does anyone know is the Madrid Tourist Travel Pass a good value? Can you use it to take the Metro from the airport to a hotel? Can you use it to travel to Toledo from Madrid? Where exactly can you use it?

These questions are answered in Rick's book. You do have the book, right?

He suggests buying a discount 10-ride Metrobus ticket; I did this recently, it's convenient and a good deal. You can indeed use a Metro ticket (or one ride on your 10-ride ticket) to/from the airport, but certainly not to go to another city (just as you can't use a NY subway ticket to take a train to Chicago...).

Thank you! Yes, I have one of his books, but it's the 2006 copy. I didn't see this addressed in the book, but haven't read it page for page yet.
