I was told to take the train from Madrid at the Atocha station, but on the Renfe site it says there are no trains available. If I choose Madrid (no particular station), options for trains populate. Any tips?

Choose Madrid(*)...it'll be from Atocha station. There are two mentions of 'Atocha' on the RENFE website....the main station is 'Madrid-Puerta de Atocha,' and that,ll bring up all the national and international trains. The second mention, 'Madrid Atocha Cercanias' refers to the commuter rail part of Atocha station...and no cercania commuter trains go as far as Toledo.
