Has anyone used either Adventurous Appetites or Walks of Madrid "Tapas small group tours" out of Madrid? Both have good reviews but would like a recomendation.

Hi Kathy- we looked at both but decided on Walks of Spain and were extremely pleased with Andres' service. We were a small group of 6 and set off to 4 venues hidden in the historic area behind Plaza de la Villa. Andres filled us in on the history of the area as we walked from place to place and gave good attention to the wines we would be tasting - some out of his own stock - as well as foods that would pair with them. We met at 7:45 PM and ended at midnite. For 65 euros it exceeded our expectation and would highly recommend. He only takes 8 or 9 people per night so I wouldn't hesitate booking. We went the night we landed in Madrid and it was the perfect introduction.

Thanks Chris, that is very helpful. I was leaning towards his tour, there will be 4 or us and we hoped to do it the first day we get into Madrid also! Am really looking forward to it!
