We will be driving to Madrid and need a room to stay the night before we fly home. Since we have little time in Madrid we need something convenient to where we drop off the car. We are dropping off the night before because we want to avoid driving in Madrid. Should we drop off at airport or train station? If so, where to stay so we can get to the airport for flight the following afternoon? We would like to have a good dinner the night before and have an easy trip to the airport. Thanks. John

Last week we stayed at the Madrid Airport Hilton. They had an internet special. Every hour they have a very nice shuttle to take you to your terminal. We ate in Madrid before taking the Metro out to the airport. The hotel has a complimentary breakfast at 7:00 but our flight was before this so we had to make do with Air France's croissants and coffee on the plane. Have fun! Spain is great!
