I know the history of May 2 to the people of Madrid, but would like to know if they have special events and where they celebrate. Do they set up a web site outlining events? I can plan my trip to be in Madrid on May 2, 2012 or stay elsewhere in Spain. Thanks in advance.

Google "Madrid May 2" and you will get a list of websites. There is a separate website for that festival but it is in Spanish. Try www.whatsonwhen.com.
