Madrid announced yesterday the opening of a new express bus service from the airport to the Atocha train station. 24 hours per day, every 15 minutes in day and every 30 minutes at night. .... and the cost is only 2 euros for the 40 minute trip.

The service starts late next month. The bus will make stops at Terminals 1,2 & 4 as well as a couple of places in Madrid (O'Donnell Esquerdo Doctor and Cibeles) before its last stop at Atocha. The buses are yellow with markings on the outside in both Spanish and English saying "Airport Express".
