A small group (with a wheelchair) is attending a wedding in La Coruna. We have flights into Madrid 2 days before the nuptials. Part of the group (with the wheelchair) departs a week later from Barcelona. My husband and I will continue on to Toledo and Segovia then depart from Madrid. What is the best way to use our time going from La Coruna to Barcelona with our friend using wheelchair. Note: this may be her last (and only) trip abroad.
P.S. Friend loves to shop.
How many days do you have after the wedding, before the other group's flight home? Will you have a car?
It's a 4 hr. drive to Porto from La Coruna. But it's about a 13 hr. drive to Barcelona (driving time only, no stops) from Porto. How are you going to manage that? What happened to doing Toledo after they left? Considering that the week doesn't start until after La Coruna, you don't have too many places, they are just too far from each other so it causes a lot of travel time. Have you thought about trains instead of part of the driving?
We will leave La Coruna on Oct. 20 and friends' flight leaves Barcelona Oct. 27. New information: one friend has heard that Portugal is fantastic, so is set on going to Lisbon. I'm going to try to reset her expectations to only go as far as Porto. So it now looks like a breakneck: Madrid > Segovia > La Coruna > Porto > Toledo > Barcelona > Madrid
