My daughter has been accepted into a camp in Spain for a week in July, so my 13yo son and I will end our Europe trip with a week in Madrid while she is gone. What are must sees?

So many things...so little time :) The Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Archaeological Museums; The Plaza Mayor: the giant Retiro Park; the Rastro flea market on Sundays; The Palacio Real (Royal Palace); shopping along the pedestrian malls off Sol; tapas around Plaza Santa Ana; day trips to Toledo, Segovia, El Escorial, and Alcalá de Henares...that's just a start! Is your daughter going to the Pueblo Ingles camp? If so, she'll love it!
