How can I purchase advance tickets for a bullfight in Madrid?
Why not just buy them once you get there?
The fights are only on Sundays, and I am afraid we will miss out if we don't have the tickets in advance. Help!
We were there in mid-June and bought tickets the day before at some ticket office just off of Plaza del Sol. They had plenty of seats left - our tickets were €11 and we could see fine. I don't think you'll have a problem finding them.
Gabriella, We went 2 years ago in March/April and had no problem. We also took the tour, and it was great. You get to stand in the rink and see the blood stains, touch the matador's cape, etc.
If there's a futbol match, go for that as well. Worth going to both events!! If anything, that will be harder to get tickets than bullfights. We went early to the box office and got the nosebleeds. I forgot the price but I was shocked how expensive nosebleeds were.
Watch out for scalpers. If you think going to a US event is full of ticket resellers, think again! LOL
We were able to purchase tickets right before the bullfight. Rick's directions on how to get to the bullring (Plaza de Toros) and the best seats to chose were excellent and easy to follow.
My husband wants to sit really close to the action....will those seats still be available if we wait until we get there??
I don't think you will have a problem. Also remember there's different fights... If you want the more popular fighter, that may be more difficult than say a fighter who's still earning his stripes?
