Madrid - Barcelona - Gibraltar

Is it too much to try to get this all in within 10 days?

Gibraltar is well worth seeing but not unless you are already in the south. It can be done, but we would spend the 10 days divided between Madrid & Barcelona. More than enough interesting things to see and do in both of these cities and their immediate areas. If your heart is set on Gibraltar - go for it! The tram ride is incredible and you'll know that you're in the UK.

Hello Marie, I agree that Gibralter is good if you are already in the south. If your heart is set on it then again I agree, go for it. If I may suggest, three days in Barcelona, the AVE train to Madrid, and then the rest of the time in that area. You can easily spend five days in Madrid including several day trips. You can spend the other two days in Salamanca, which is a bit too far for a one day day-trip. I love Madrid and the fact that it is near enough to other classically Spanish towns. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Happy travels, Will
