We are arriving in Madrid from Seville at Term 4 around 8am. What is the best way to get to Toledo immediatly after our arrival?

The hire car desk will probably find a map for you. Toledo is about 100kms south-west and should not take you much more than an hour. Once you get south of Madrid it is well sign-posted.

Kelani - do you mean by train or car? By train, you must get to Atocha Station and then there are about hourly trains to Toledo. To get to Atocha, you can take the Metro but it requires a transfer. Review the map and pick a route (there are several options). The Metro is safe, clean and easy to use and has a stop at Terminal 4. Ticket lines at Atocha can be long so expect a wait but there are plenty of trains to Toledo.

If going by train, there is a ticket station at the airport across for a big TI, don't remember exactly location but we easily followed signs to that location. Buy your tickets there.
