We will be in Madrid for a couple of days in October and would like to know what others have done in the way of dining, and shows, flamenco and the like. One of us has already been to the Prado. Thanks for your information and experiences.
Lunch on the Plaza Mayor - lots of side walk restaurants there... The Royal Palace, Royal Armory and Cathedral Alumedna adjacent to it. A short walk from the Plaza Mayor. Restaurant: Garbo, Plaza del Carmen 4...a block or so off Gran Via, near the Telephonico building....Italian with a twist and delicious food. Have not seen a flamenco show in Madrid...some of the locals advised seeing one in Sevilla - which I did. The other art galleries near the Prado The Park Retiro...wonderful place to unwind and see the people.. Walk Gran Via - 101 years old now..magnificent buildings
Thankyou for the suggestions we will try each of them. Again Thank you.
