This sounds like a 911 ( emergency ) call ! Luzern is a major rail station . No need to worry about routing , just walk over there and go to the manned ticket facility . They will quickly sort it for you , and they sell tickets there all the time , it's one of the services they provide .

We did ask this morning at ticket counter and did not get any help. We're thinking we may have go e to the wrong counter because it was international?
We have figured out we can go from Luzern to como on train with switching trains once. We need to come into como at the lago station I think in order to be close to the ferry pier. How do we Mack sure we come in at lago station?

It appears that the station is Como S. Giovanni . Como Lago Nord is slightly to the northeast and appears accessible by bus ,it's about a half mile away. There doesn't appear to be a direct rail connection between the two . But a ten minute bus ride would easily do the trick . I would try Luzern station again , I can't imagine that you won't find someone competent to aid you .

Exactly what Steven said. You will go from Luzern to Arth-Goldau and transfer there to the train that goes directly to Como San Giovanni. This is a different rail line than the one that goes to Como Lago and to transfer between the two you would probably have to go closer to Milan and double back-not worth it. There will likely be taxis at the Como San Giovanni station to carry you to the ferry dock if you would rather do that. The ticket agent at the Luzern station shoule certainly be able to seel you this ticket. Just be sure to tell him or her it is Como San Giovanni for your destination. They cannot help with ferry tickets, of course. The alternative is to go all the way into Milan and change there for a train to Varenna, then take the ferry from there to Bellagio-a much shorter ferry ride. Depending on ferry schedules, this could be shorter or longer than the Como/Bellagio ferry route.

Just checked further , The bus goes direct between the two stations in Como , no need to worry .

Thx for all the help! We have several options now. Any idea how much a taxi might cost to go from como to bellagio?
