Our trip to Paris and Belgium has just been canceled due to the volcano. We are not rebooking for late May and will have to alter our original itinery. Has anyone been to Luxemborg City and is it worth it to stay a night, OR, should we go to Reims, France instead. Thanks, Tom

Seems like more people have asked about Luxembourg City in the past 3 months than in the previous 3 years. Here's my opinion, for what it's worth: very pleasant city, very low on the kind of sites that usually attract tourists. I can think of many worse places to spend a night in Europe, but I can also think of many much better.

Reims. Stayed in Lux. City for a night to visit the American Cemetery (The only site to visit. Patton is buried there.) Not too much to see. We also found that the citizens were not too friendly and no one attempted to speak any English.
