My wife and I and 3 teenaged grandchildren will be arriving CDG at 9:40 AM on Tues. July 9. We will be renting a car and driving to Bayeux. Any suggestions for a place to stop for lunch on the way. Thanks

Rouen. Or Les Andelys and go up to the castle.

Those are both good stops; however, Les Andelys is closer to CDG and you will probably arrive there around lunchtime. You could picnic up by King Richard's castle, if that appeals to you, or find a pretty spot by the Seine. Rouen is a city, you will need extra time if you stop there because of traffic and finding a parking spot.
