Lunch Spots in The Marais

I've heard from a couple of people that there are several very good, small restaurants on Rue Des Rosiers in the Marais district of Paris. My wife and I will be in Paris for the first week in April, and will be spending at least one day in the vicinity, visiting Notre Dame and other touristy spots in the area.
Any suggestions?

I'm curious about this as well as we're staying there in June. I discovered a great site called Paris By Mouth. They have lots of restaurant guidance, and you can search by arrondisement, meal, and cost, to find if there is something in that area to your taste and in your budget. Good luck and have a great trip!

Lots of great eateries along Rue des Rosiers, esp. world's best falafel stands (a specialty on this street). 2 personal favorite cafe areas in the Marais: the cafes around Place du Marche Sainte Catherine, and the cafes around the perimeter of Place des Vosges - Cafe Hugo, Nectarine. Indoor/outdoor seating, great ambiance at these locations.

We like L'As du Fallafel (34 Rue des Rosiers) for fallafel; Page 35 for crepes and cider (4 Rue Parc Royal); and Pizza Sant'Antonio (16 Rue St Martin.) I'd also ask a local!

L'As Du Fallafel is my favorite place for lunch in the marais. This place is extremely popular and almost always a line to get in which moves quickly. It is cheaper to take the fallafel to go and eat in a nearby park several blocks from the restaurant. When dining inside the falafel plate is good along with a plate of fries. I have eaten here since 1997. Pizza San Antonio is a good place for lunch/dinner with good pizza's and priced right. My son who lives in Paris eats here one time/week. This place gets crowded after 7:00pm.
