Does anyone know if there are luggage storage facilities (either pay lockers or a staffed service) at either Interlaken Ost or West? We just want to leave our luggage there for a few hours on the day we're traveling from Lauterbrunnen to Kandersteg. If yes, about how much?

When we were there we didn't need to store luggage; so I don't know for sure, but I remember travelers on this page stating several years ago that they had to go to a local hotel or hostel to leave luggage for the day.
That may have changed since then.
I would go to the Tourist Information Office in the RR station and ask.

We were in Interlaken Ost station a few weeks ago and yes there are luggage lockers on the side of the station away from the tracks, 5 Euro if I recall. We were able to fit 3 Ebag Convertibles into one locker.

Both train stations in Interlaken have lockers and a staffed counter. In fact, I've yet to come across a station in Switzerland that doesn't have lockers.
