We are planning a trip to Spain and France in May before dropping our daughter off to study in Madrid. Flights are in and out of Madrid. We would like to leave a bag in Madrid so that we can "travel light". Does anyone know a safe place to store her large bag?

were were in Madrid last summer and I recall storing luggage in the Madrid train station, believe it was Attocha. This might work if you are travelling by train. They had storage locker area, with xray screening and the lockers - some of them were big enough for suitcases. How big is your stuff? We stored our stuff there for a few days while taking overnight trips to surrounding towns.
