luggage storage - Avignon

Rick's book says that there is storage at the City Center rail station (not the TGV) in Avignon but I've been told there isn't any. The person who told me was there in November. Anyone know about this?

According to the official SNCF Gares en Mouvement site, there are coin-operated lockers at Avignon Centre. The site says they are located on the square to the left when going out of the station lobby.
