Has anyone had experience storing luggage at the Frankfurt airport? Would it be possible to store a large duffel for 10days? What about a laptop? Would this be secure?

I did just that. At the end of a business trip, I checked my business clothes and traveled for a week with just a large daypack of casual clothes.
They have a cost per day to check it but I can't recall what it was. It's a lot like a coat check except your bags go through an x-ray machine then they check it and give you a ticket.

If you leave your laptop, be sure to pack it safely in your duffel with clothes around it so it can suffer being thrown about.
Don't let anyone see you placing it in the bag. Lock the bag is possible.
