Does anyone know of a luge close to Munich or Innsbruck? We will be there in a few weeks with my son and I know that he would have a great time, but we won't have a car - so we're limited by where the train or bus can take us. thanks!

Hi Krista,
Sorry, I don't know if this will help. The only luge rides I've been to are at Tegelberg (about 1 mile from Neuschwanstein) and at Garmisch, Germany (about an hour from Innsbruck). Maybe an alternative would be a cable car ride.

If you are traveling from Munich to Innsbruck by train, you could stop at Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the way. There is a 650 meter Sommerrodelbahn (summer luge) there, not too far from the train station.
G-P is about an hour and a half from Munich, and it is another hour and twenty minutes from there to Innsbruck.
