Hello I am trying to make some last minuet decissions on what to do. I have July 1 to 5th free time inbetween bike tours. I end up in Basel from the first tour. Next one starts Lake Garda July 5th. And I am staying in Hostels. I was thinking of staying in Lugarno for a couple days. July 1 to maybe 3rd. tehn head to Milan? I do want to see Milan for at least a day and a night. What is there to do in Lugarno? Would the other places above be a better choice? Stressa or Menaggio?

I visited Lugarno on a day trip from Stresa - nice town, nice castle, but I'd say there was more to do in Stresa, as you can take boat trips to the islands.
