Given the helpful suggestions that I received from my inquiry on Lucerne lodging, does anyone have any recommended places to stay in Lugano or the surrounding area? As usual....thank you!

We just got back from Lugano and spent a nite at the Art Hotel Stella Lugano. It is an easy 3 minute walk from the FFS station and with the Funicular about 5-10 minutes from City Center. We found it well priced in comparison with some City Center hotels. Air conditioning was also nice considering it was 85-90 and humid that day.
While searching I also heard a lot of positive feedback about the Lugano Dante which is in the City Center but more expensive
