Has anyone had recent experience with any of these hotels? Hotel des Alpes in Lucerne? Hotel Goldene Ente in Salzburg? Hotel Austria in Vienna? We've booked them as part of a trip in August & I'd love some feedback, pro or con, from anyone who's stayed there. Thanks.

We've stayed at Hotel Des Alpes in Lucerne. Over all it was a good experience. You really can't beat the location right on the river next to the Chapel Bridge. Eating breakfast outside on the balcony with the bridge right there was a highlight. Pay the extra and get a room with a river view --It's very pretty at night.
