Suggestions on good RS-endorsed loding in Lucerne not too far from train to walk, we are over 65. We understand Hotel Staubbach is a bit far since we arrive in Zurich after long flight.

We stayed at Hotel Des Alpes in Lucerne. It is RS recommended and it was wonderful. A short walk from the train station and on the river with a wonderful view. The breakfast room had a lovely view of the river and were hearty. I would recommend this hotel. Enjoy Lucern it is a beautiful city.
