Does anyone know if it's practical to buy tickets in advance from the US for special exhibitions at the Louvre? We'll be in Paris in October for several hours and want to see the Titian/Tintoretto/Veronese exhibit but don't want to have to stand in a long line for tickets. Thank you!
I'm also going to be in Paris in October, and want to see the exhibitions too. Because October is low season, I didn't think the lines would be as long as in the summer, so I was planning on getting my ticket when I'm there. But yet, Paris could be always crowded, so I would also be interested in what members here have to say.
I found Louvre special exhibition tickets at a website called TicketWeb. Has anyone ever used this company before?
If you don't want to wait in line at the Louvre, you can buy tickets in advance from any branch of the French books/AV/IT chain FNAC.
