Which website to buy the admission tickets? Where to collect the tickets? What are the other places of interest worth visiting In Paris other than the Eiffel Tower and the seine cruise?

Teo, I second on the guide books. i was sitting next to some travelers from Japan and they had some really detailed guidebooks. I didnt catch the title/name, but im sure if you look at your local book/travel stores, you will find something. you need to provide us with what YOU like so we can make recommendations. If not, you will get everything under the sun. happy trails.

Teo: you badly need a guide book! Any good guide book for Paris would have the answers to these questions but the Rick Steves one would serve you very well. In the meantime this website will help you: tomsguidetoparis.com and for transportation: parisbytrain.com But really ... do get a guide book!

Teo, I most definitely agree with the others - you REALLY need to have a look at a Guidebook. It's difficult for any of us to suggest "other places of interest worth seeing", as we don't know what you're most interested in seeing. Given your location, I realize you may not be able to easily obtain a RS Guidebook. If you'll be packing along an iPad, Netbook or other device, you may be able to download the Kindle version of the Guidebook. The Paris 2014 edition is currently on the Amazon website for US$9.71 (a bargain). If you'll be travelling in other parts of France, you may wish to download the France 2013 Guidebook instead, as it also contains information on Paris. Rather than buying admission tickets for each attraction, you might consider a Paris Museum Pass, which comes in 2, 4 or 6 consecutive day versions. It will not only provide admission to many of the sights in Paris and nearby, but also helps to avoid the queues (there are shorter queues for those that have a Pass or tickets). The Pass does include the Museé du Louvre but AFAIK it doesn't include the Eiffel Tower. You can make reservations online for the Tower. You can buy the Paris Museum Pass at the airport on your way into Paris, or in numerous locations through Paris (details on their website). Regarding the Louvre, I'd suggest not trying to see the entire facility in one day, as it's HUGE. Most people visit the Denon Wing first, as that's where Mona Lisa is located. Be sure to wear a Money Belt and be vigilant for pickpockets! Note that the Louvre is closed on Tuesdays, so plan your touring accordingly. Happy travels!

I agree with the others, you must get a guide book so you at least have an idea of all the things there are to see and do in Paris. There are too many to list, so you must read and see what interests you. I also think buying a Museum Pass is a good idea.. it can be used at most sites and it also allows you to skip lines at some of the busier sites like the Orsay Museum . A Museum Pass can be purchased at the tourist desk at the airport, or you can buy it at many of the sites listed. No need to order it online as you only will pay more for it. I think we paid 54 euros for a 4 day pass last summer. It is not good for the Eiffel Tower .
