Does anyone have a good guidebook recommendation for Lourdes, France? Or any general tips on avoiding crowds or making the best of our visit? I wish Rick would cover it--I know it's supposed to be really touristy, but my very pious aunt would like to visit when we're in Europe this October! Thanks,

I get the impression that Rick S. shy's away from Religious sites, he also doesn't cover Fatima. I have had luck using "Lourdes tripadvisor Forum". Or you can look up Catholic Pilgrimages, a lot of insightful info as well. I'm gathering it is not that difficult to do, once you are in Lourdes I think you'll receives a lot of help.
