Looking for Vienna Restaurant

This Sept/Oct my husband and I will be in Vienna for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I have been looking at restaurants for our special evening. We are looking for somewhere that would be an "authentic" Austrian experience. Entrees could range up to about 25 euros give or take. We are not wine afficianados though we dont mind trying something authentic. So far, I like the menu at Wiener Rathauskeller. Also, we would probably need to stay around inner stadt. Any suggestions?

My friend who lives there took us to: http://puerstner.com/international/puerstner-english.html He says it's the most authentic Viennese food in town (he's Greek, but has live there for years and years). The meals were nice, a bit pricey, large, quite good, and they even had some flavors of soda I had never comes across before in my Europe travels.

It's also just a hop & skip from Stephansdom, so it's a nice walk to the city center after dinner.

Happy Anniversary!

A restaurant that we really enjoyed was Zum Finsternen on Schuhof. It is tricky to find as no name is posted--located right behind the Am Hof in a very old building where Mozart once performed. We have been there twice in November so outside dining was not an option but in warm weather a terrace shaded by a Bluebell Tree is open for dining. It is small and filled with locals and has an attentive wait staff, good food, and would fit your budget.
