pln to arrive about 18;00 Sunday and looking for accomodations in 80 euro per nightor less...we are both in our 60s but not dead so we are also looking for site seeing ideas in the area other than WWII sites(we have seen them). We like to walk. we have 4 trips left on our eurail pass before we have to return to Paris and then USA...

As suggested in my response to your other post asking the same thing, check out the Hotel Cathedral in Rouen.

I just returned to Paris from a day trip to Rouen. There's plenty of walking around the Cathedral -- more churches, lots of shops, interesting sites -- there are also a zillion tourists. The Cathedral is worth the visit.
If you're up for driving, rent a car and drive to Honfleur (you can stay there for 90 Euro) and go to Bayeux.
