looking for an adventure!

I am looking for some sort of exciting adventure/ excursion that I can book my trip around. My dad and I are both very active people that have a drive for life and a thirst for adrenaline... Any ideas/ recommendations?

You really need to be more specific. Some people would consider biking around Paris as "a drive for life and a thirst for adrenaline" and other people would want nothing less than climbing the Matterhorn.

Something along the lines of mountain climbing/ backpacking, cruising down a river maybe with some class 4 rapids, skydiving, or an off-roading (4x4) adventure.

The Berner Oberland has some awesome hiking trails through the alps. It is exactly like Heidei Country. You can also go hang gliding.

jenni, I agree with the previous suggestion to consider the Berner Oberland. You'll have lots of activities there to choose from, including hiking, Paragliding, Sky Diving and I believe White Water Rafting. For some of the activities, you'll have to ensure that you have an adequate travel budget, as they aren't cheap. I'm not sure if Paragliding is still offered from the Schilthorn, but departing from the 10,000 foot level for a one-hour tandem flight would probably qualify as an "exciting adventure". I can't remember the exact cost, but I believe it was about CH$250 per person for that particular flight. The 20-minute flight from Mürren was about CH$85 as I recall. Happy travels!

This company in Interlaken offers paragliding, canyoning, Whitewater rafting on the Lütschine, wakeboarding on Lake Thun, etc. http://www.paragliding-interlaken.ch/en After you watch the paragliding video, click on "water" to see about canyoning and whitewater rafting. Nearby, at Mürren, there is a Klettersteig (via ferrata) you can try, or rent mountain bikes to ride down to the valley.
