We are spending 3 nights in Amsterdam in Spring 2012 and are looking for a B&B with a good location and friendly owners with rates at 125 Euros or under. Any recommendations would be appreciated. BTW Boogaard B&B is already booked for our dates.

We were just there in November and stayed in Haarlem at a RS suggestion ~ right on the market square/pedestrian only area ~ I think it was the "Mozart Hotel" (?) We loved staying out of the hustle/bustle of downtown Amsterdam, but were just a few minutes train ride away. Be sure and also see the Corrie ten Boom home ~only one block away from that hotel in Haarlem ~ it ties in well with the tour of Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
