My wife an I are flying into London for a 30 day European tour and are only allowed one bag each, on the tour. We are bringing extra bags for 30 more days in Greece after tour. We are in need of a long term luggage storage facility were we can leave our extra bags in Paris for 30 days and retrive them when we finish our European tour and fly to Greece from (CDG) Paris. Does anyone have any information? Michael
Micheal, there are lockers at some train stations( if arriving by Eurostar into Paris there are some at Gare Du Nord) but most limit the time you can store a bag, and I have a feeling its not a month.
Frankly don't know why you think you need two large bags each,, most people can get by with one, unless you are packing formal wear perhaps? In Greece you need bathsuits, some shorts and maybe a sundress. Its a casual place. Anyways I suggest you simply google Charles De Gaulle Airport, and read their website, same with Gare Du Nord, they both have english websites.
We had a similar problem last year in London. The hotel we stayed in at Gatwick held our luggage for 4 weeks FREE OF CHARGE! It was going to cost about 225 GBP to leave them at the airport. If you are staying at an hotel in Paris, either before or after your tour, check there. They may be willing to help.
Have you tried Bagage du Monde?
If you are surviving with one bag on a 30 day tour, what could you possibly have in the extra luggage that would make the next 30 days better. Extra luggage just causes extra problems so stick with the one bag. As recommended a hotel is really you only option. However, security at hotels is often very light so don't anything of great value.
If the airport will do the trick, there's a storage check-in place on the lower level by the train station in T2.
