When we land at CDG we have to phone the owner of the apartment we have rented regarding meeting to get the keys. My question, since I am not taking a cell phone, is it a long distance call from CDG to central Paris??

Heather, I always travel with a Cell phone, so can't specifically answer that. However, from a logical perspective if you MUST phone the apartment owner, you'll have to make the call whether it's long distance or not. You might look for a phone card at one of the shops in the airport. Good luck!
