I have figured out how to get about London by way of the tube, but for some of the 2 for 1 offers I need to use the train. Both the tube and the train web sights that I have found offer Victoria and Westminster stations. Do they share a station? Is there a web sight that offers a map of the train stations (I've found a sight that offers a map of the tube station)? Thanks you all who are helping me put all of this together.
You do not need to use the train, you have to have a paper ticket to London purchased from a rail station. 1 day and 7 day paper travelcards valid for travel on the tube, buses and rail purchased from a rail station meet this requirement. Yes, many rail and tube stations share a station. Westminster is not a rail station. This tube map shows rail stations with a red double arrow (or 'crows-foot') National Rail logo, including Charing Cross, London Bridge, Paddington, Marylebone, Victoria, and Waterloo. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdf
