Loire Valley Chateaus - Need Help

Well, my husband and I will be spending our 15th wedding anniverary traveling for 5 weeks throughout Europe this summer and we are very excited. Unfortunately, we are having some trouble narrowing down a nice Loire Valley Chateau.... We tried to get into Chateau des Ormeaux but after an initial confirmation, they unfortunately had to tell us that they made a mistake and are now unable to accomodate us. Can anyone help with alternatives?

We were initially thinking Amboise, but since we will have a car, we are not set on a specific city. We care mostly about having the ability to site-see the castles of the Loire Valley within reason. Thank you.

Do you mean a chateau for a visit or for lodging?

A chateau for lodging?? I wasn't aware you can sleep in these chateaux.
I've been to many of these chateux, but they didn't seem to have beds for public use. :)
Maybe in a nearby hotel, you mean?!

Yes, a hotel for lodging. The larger ones, such as Chamboard and Chenenceau (sp?) are only for touring, but there are smaller castle/chateaus that you can stay at - such as Chateau des Ormeaux (which is sold out when I want to go) and Chateau de Noizay (where I have tentative reservations). I am trying to find out if anyone has any particular recommendations besides these two.... Thanks!
