We're looking for an apartment in Paris and have found a couple through Lodgis that we like. Before we booked with them we wondered..... Has anyone had any problems using this company? Any successes? Thanks!

I have used www.sabbaticalhomes.com and been recommended to www.homelidays.com. Maybe worth a comparison?

We too had success with sabbaaticalhomes.com for a six-month stay but were already in Paris and able to visit the apartment first. We dealt directly with the owner who was leaving on sabbatical. It's an open site, so you need to use more caution than with lodgis, but some of the prices can be lower.

I have never tried Lodgis because the first time I rented an apartment I went through New York Habitat and I was so delighted with both their service and the apartment (and the owner) that I have never tried any other company since. I'm sure if you look for testimonials in various forums including this fantastic rick steves' forum, you'll find people who have used them and reported their experience.
