Lodgings that allow dogs

My experience has been that Switzerland is just about the most dog-friendly country on Earth. Dogs seem to be welcome just about everywhere except in churches. I've even skied with my dog there! Although I don't know of any lodgings specifically in Gimmelwald, my wife, dog and I spent a wonderful Christmas holiday at Hotel Spinne in Grindelwald. I saw a dog coming out of a hotel in Mürren, but I don't recall off the top of my head which one.

Have you thought of finding places that you would like to go and then phoning them ( I see you are already in the Netherlands) or emailing them with your request and seeing what they say?

Pet policies are typically listed on the hotel's website. No need to call or email anyone just use google.
