We will be on our way to Brugge, would like to stop off in and probably stay the night in Verdun or Bastogne. any suggestions. We prefer B & B type of accommodations

We stayed here this past spring. In a small village about 15km from Verdun. It's close to the Verdun Battlefield. I would recommend spending several days as there is lots to see. http://www.lametairiedesvergers.com/
