I'm helping some friends plan their trip to Paris, I loved staying in the Rue Cler neighborhood at a small hotel, but for my friends they would have to rent 3 rooms, and that can get pricey. Have any of you rented apartments, or stayed somewhere where they have triple rooms? They will be visiting Paris for 3 nights 4 days in June.

Lindsay, do you have Rick's Paris 2011 book? Just for a quick check on prices (& possible availabilities since I don't know the actual dates in June, a typically busy month), I looked at hotel-leveque.com and vacationinparis.com. Whatever your friends choose, they should get started, especially since there are 6 of them. I also see that they could do 2 triples so that could help. Bonne chance!

I was very happy with the apartment I rented through vacationinparis.com. They were quite easy to deal with. I believe the charge an additional fees for stays of under 5 nights, but it still might be less expensive than a hotel. I'd suggest you contact them and see if they have anything appropriate.
