I just stayed in a Privatzimmer in Mittenwald. I could give you the information, but unless you speak German, it probably wouldn't work. The owner speaks English, but I never saw him, and his mother, who runs the house, only speaks German.
However, Mittenwald does have a website, www.mittenwald.de, which can be displayed in English. It can show you a list of accommodations that are available for your dates.

Hi Jerry,
We've stayed twice ('05 and '06) at the Pension Schwalbennestl in Mittenwald. Nice place, friendly hosts, good buffet breakfast and wonderful views at terrific rates.
Although the website is only in German, you can e-mail and correspond in English.
