I'm interested in staying in Beaune or Dijon (or a combination of the two) for two to three months. I'd like to find inexpensive, safe lodging. I can do without any frills although I need plumbing. And WiFi would be nice. Just a room with a bed and a table would be fine. Any thoughts? Experiences? Suggestions? Thanks very much.
Hi Edie,
VRBO stands for Vacation Rental by Owner--here's the site: VRBO
We stayed in a hotel in Beaune that was near the train station called Hotel de France. It's not fancy but relatively inexpensive, a 10-minute walk to the city center, and convenient if you're going to take the train for day trips.
If you're staying for 2-3 months, I'd look at an apartment.
GdF is not a governmental agency; it's a private, non-profit outfit.
