I have the HOSTERIA GRAU, www.hostalgrau.com booked for May. Near to Las Ramblas. Rick Steves recommended and good Trip Advisor rating. Free wifi. They were quick to respond and answered questions I had about early am taxi to airport. 90 euros Dbl with private bath 65 shared bath. When are you going?

We loved the funky Hotel Continental on Las Ramblas when we visited last June. For $110 EU nite we got a nice room on a side alley and a 24/hr/day buffet with free drinks, ice cream, beer and wine, etc.. We would sit out on a balcony and have our free breakfast, or have snacks on the patio. The airport bus pulls up about two blocks away, and the location is central to everything.
