Anyone have knowledge of Rick Steves recommendations for Equisheim
thank you, yes we did mean Eguisheim, Madame Bombenger sounds like a good choice. We have been trying to contact Alexandre Freudenreich regarding his room but having no luck.
thanks again for the info
I am now seeking same info. Did you have any luck?
In Sept. we stayed at Madame Bombenger's, spotless, modern, and the Bombenger's were very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast too! We, too, could not get in touch with Mr. F.!
We also stayed at Madame Bomgender (sp) in Sept , great even the rooms without baths, bath etc right across hall probably less distance then in own home, she provides bath robes, nice breakfast. great and reasonable places for dinner short walk away. nice to walk home after wine and dinner.
Easy parking, easy to wine road, Colmar etc. We very much look forward to going back to her B&B sometime soon. We also found Equisheim the perfect place to jump off to day trips. Easy to get to Strasbourg, follow Madame B's directions.
How did you contact Madame Bomgender?
Another good website for info is:
www.visit-alsace.com
We contacted her thru e-mail from address in Rick Steves France guide book. I do not have my book available right now or I would give you the address This my be it however, [email protected] hope that helps
