Local Street Art in Paris- Watercolor paintings and such

My husband and I have traveled all over Europe and bought watercolor paintings from local artists who set up and paint and sell. Does anyone have suggestions as to where I might find such art in Paris. I have been to Montmartre near the Sacre Coeur and found art there, but I am looking for other traditional spots where other people have seen artists commonly set up to sell. I am going to be there in June so I am thinking that with the beginning of tourist season those types of people should be out and about.

PS. If anyone is interested in watercolor artists I have seen them in Rome, Florence, Prague, Salzburg, London...just about everywhere I've been so if anyone wants to know the hot spots just let me know and I will share the info.

In addition to what you already noted, I saw some vendors selling art around the Pompidou Center.

I bought two 'nostalgic' watercolor prints from a very friendly, earnest artist at the Saturday art market at Bastille this past November. The prints were roughly 8x10" - 11x14" or so, and costs range 15€ and up for each. He gave me a little discount for buying two of them. His originals are quite expensive, so prints were all I could afford. Here is a link to his website, and note that my prints had a more vibrant color to them than do the images on the site. There were other artists and products at the market as well (every Saturday).
