Is it possible to see the Bordeaux region using local buses? Are there inter-city trains or do we really need a rental car? How many days for this region?
When I was there I did not use local transportation. However I would do a google search for Bordeaux trains" or busses or trolley. You can find lots of info.

I would plan at least 2 days and preferably 3 days if you have them available.
